Post 8: English Language Challenges

I found it really interesting the way of teaching English online in the middle of a pandemic, because the classes I had attended has always been on-site, but this modality is really good because it gives you the chance to review the class after it has been dictated and review it all the times that you want. I also like the blogs because it gives you an space for expression while training the writting skills, also, it is a good exercise for uncommon words and at the same time applying urban words into the language that many times is really formal, in this time of learning. I have had English lessons since school, so I think my learning skills have a lot of advantages and many disadvantages, because the learning process in school is very different and the age factor really impacts on the learning way, so I think that the best way to improved my English is writting a lot and talking, like trying to incorporate it to my day to day thinking. I don't use English very much in my day, but

POST 7: Changes to my study programme

So basically the curriculm of Industrial Design bases it self in two main study processes, one is the theoretical approach; that consist in all the subjects that set the bases of the history of design, the methodologies and elective courses that are purelly theoretical. The other main area consists in the subjects that are purelly of practice, all of the working actvity, like getting to kow tools, softwares and the methodological process in the activities. So the first tree years of design it mixes this two aproaches and you get subjects like, Proyecj of Design, that is a workshop, and also you get mathematics, fisics, and semiotic, but all of theese subjects are from the common agenda of Design, after the third year you can choose to get the degree of Industrial Design or Graphic Design, it depends on how many elective courses you took in the length of the carrer. So the last 2 years you get a los of workload because you can choose many electives, this time it's also very interest

Post 6: Time travel to the future

Imagen
I do believe time travel will be possible, maybe around 50 to 100 years, so in consideration I will be a little bit old I would like to travel far away possible, like to the year 3000 (like the jonas brothers said), although if it wasn't possible, like maybe the earth got destroyed or something, I would like to travel to the day where human kind and society got to the higher state, like in the areas of culture, economics and maybe when the patriarchy is over in all it's forms, in other words where we, as a society can be as happily as we can. Also I would like to go to the metropolis of the world like New York, Rio de Janeiro, Rome, Hong Kong, Dubai, Berlin, or Moscu in that time where we can be fulfilled (as a society). I wouldn't like to stay many time, maybe a week or so, because I would know that the end of times (like Harry Styles said) was close, I would stay maybe like 3 years. So my options are like, go one time into the future like the year 5000 and evaluate if li

Post 5: "My Future Job"

I imagine my dream job in a city with sea, so I can watch it from my window, it's a very spacious office maybe in a house so I can have a workshop. I want to own a Design office, where I can conduct all of the proyects, I would like to work with a lot of people of different studies and occupations, also with craft masters. Also I would like to travel a lot, for bussines and pleasure because the job it's going to give me a lot of money. I don't want to have a strict full time job, of course I am going to enjoy working all day, because it is what I like to do, but it will not be strict or maybe I will take the work home, and I will have the liberty to do it. It is going to pay really well, or well enough to live comfortably and pay for my desires, like travelling or my collection of antique cameras. I am currently studying what I love, Industrial Design so it is perfect for my dream job, I would like to specialize my studies a little bit more, so maybe that it's going to

Post 4: My Bucket List

I have never done a Bucket List, maybe once when I was little, but if I had to create one right now, it would include buying a motorcycle or an electric scooter for travelling in the city now that I am in Santiago doing my intershio.  Also I want tot ravel in the summer with my friends, I love the beach so I hope to travel to a place with a becha, maybe of the caribbean hoppefully that is warm and really blue. Maybe the most important thing of my bucket list is that I want to graduate from university with a high grade, but that is not happening until the next year, I think this one is the most difficult one to achueve, because it depends on my preparation fo rmy thesis. Other thing that I really want to acheive is to lear really well to sport climb, I know a little right now but I want to get really good and hope to travel to places where you can climb with an amazing view in a natural rock.  I would like to share these activities with my friends becauuse I think that they really funn

Post 3: "My favorite Movie"

Imagen
My favorite film is "The Grand Hotel Budapest". It is a comedy film released in 2014 directed by Wes Anderson. I like this film because the stetic of the film is really beautiful, the color palette it is made of very light pastels and the cinematic image create a beautiful composition. Also the movie has some great characters. I am not very good to see movies, I like more TV series. But the reasons that I liked "The Grand Hotel Budapest" is the main "cheklist" to watch movies. Like good image, extravagant characters and good soundtrack. Also I like to use the Bechdel test to measure the representation of women in the film. It is not determinant but I like to have the information. The last movie I saw was "We need to talk about Kevin" directed by Lynne Ramsay wich released in 2011. It starts Tilda Swinton wich I tink is a grat actress. I do recomend the film becaus it constantly keep you in a state of suspense.  Like I mention before I am not go

Post 2: The best Concert ever

Imagen
In 2001 I went to the best concert of my life, the princess of pop, Britney Spears. Since I was a little kid I had always loved her music and I always learned her lyrics, but no the choreography, because I was really bad at dancing.  The concert was at the National Stadium in Santiago and it was really crowded, you could feel the excitement all throught the air. Britney was on her Femme Fatale Tour wich is the seventh studio album released on 2011. The concert started a little delayed but when she appeared on stage my mind was blown away, I was so excited that I even cried a little. I knew all of her songs and it was wonderful because she singed some of her most famous ones.  Most of the people know that the media tried all the time to harass her, until she couldn't handle it, so in 2007 she released her album Blackout that was so "controvertial " and with bad reputation. After Blackout came Circus (2008) that was the album that "erased" all of the thing that h
