Post 8: English Language Challenges
I found it really interesting the way of teaching English online in the middle of a pandemic, because the classes I had attended has always been on-site, but this modality is really good because it gives you the chance to review the class after it has been dictated and review it all the times that you want.
I also like the blogs because it gives you an space for expression while training the writting skills, also, it is a good exercise for uncommon words and at the same time applying urban words into the language that many times is really formal, in this time of learning.
I have had English lessons since school, so I think my learning skills have a lot of advantages and many disadvantages, because the learning process in school is very different and the age factor really impacts on the learning way, so I think that the best way to improved my English is writting a lot and talking, like trying to incorporate it to my day to day thinking.
I don't use English very much in my day, but there is sometimes that I have to read papers that are in English and it comes very handy, also sometimes the softwares that I use are only in English, so I put it in practice, also when I don't know how to do something in these softwares, I have to look in the internet and almost all of the videos are in English, and I do understand it very well, so I don't apply it directly in my conversations but in the intellectual part I do use it very much.
weekly blogs allow us to give our opinions while we learn new things, I like that
ResponderEliminarI feel the same way about the online classes, I like that they are recorded so I can review them later and learn things that I might miss in the live class.
